Judgement ruled in my favour June 2019

I came to One Community for assistance to reply to letters from my ex-husband's solicitors because I could not afford lawyers fees. That's when a friend asked me to go to One Community. She said they will be able to help you. So I walked in to the shop to make an appointment but the Bernice listened to me and assisted me to do the letter the same day. As I got a response I took it back to her for a reply and she respond accordingly. Eventually the she helped me to make an application to the court (Form N244) to ask the District Judge to grant me the order for the sale of our joint home after my bitter divorce which has been a dispute between myself and my ex-husband.

With Bernice's help, on 31st May 2019, at the hearing, the District Judge granted the order in my favour to sell the home.

I couldn't have done this without One Community Development's help. They are very pleasant and very accommodating and I would recommend their service to anyone who needs help.

This is my testimonial explaining my situation and my heartfelt appreciation to Bernice Barning my first point of contact at One Community drop-in centre. A couple of weeks ago, I found myself in a scary place. Universal Credit was refusing to pay me any monies at all because I couldn't provide a tenancy or written letter.
